By David Rosenberg, World Israel News President Donald Trump warned Hamas on Monday to halt its use of Israeli hostages in Gaza City as human shields in an attempt to block the IDF from operating in key areas. In a post to his Truth Social account, the president called the tactic a “human atrocity,” adding that should Hamas’ leadership ignore his warning, “all bets are off.” “I have just read a News Report that Hamas has moved the hostages above ground to use them as human shields against Israel’s ground offensive,” Trump wrote. “I hope the Leaders of Hamas know what they’re getting into if they do such a thing. This is a human atrocity, the likes of which few people have ever seen before. Don’t let this happen or, ALL ‘BETS’ ARE OFF. RELEASE ALL HOSTAGES NOW!” Minutes later, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly thanked Trump for his comments in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office. “Thank you President Trump for your unflinching support for Israel’s battle against Hamas and the release of all our hostages,” he wrote. On Sunday night, Merav Gilboa-Dalal, the mother of hostage Guy Gilboa-Dalal, told Galei Tzahal radio that she was recently notified that her son has been moved from an underground tunnel network and is now being held above ground, where he is being used as a human shield.
