By World Israel News Staff A Belgian doctor is under fire this week after he diagnosed a patient recently as Jewish, including it in the child’s medical record as part of a list of health issues. Censored copies of the nine-year-old patient’s medical report were circulated on social media on Sunday, revealing that the attending radiologist, Dr. Qasim Arkawazy, had described the girl as “Jewish (Israeli)” in his write-up of her condition. The girl was brought to AZ Zeno Campus Hospital in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, last week after she was injured in a fall. Arkawazy wrote in the “Current Problem” section that the patient had presented with “pain in the left forearm,” adding that she “fell from the climbing structure to the ground; a man fell on top of her.” He then wrote that she has “no allergies,” adding she is “Jewish (Israeli).” A native of Baghdad, Iraq, and a Shi’ite Muslim, Arkawazy has posted antisemitic and anti-Sunni material to his social media accounts, including an AI-generated image of Hasidic Jews as vampires preparing to suck the blood of an infant. Shortly after scans of the medical report went viral, social media users began calling on hospital administrators to fire Arkawazy.
