Iran: ‘No port in the Gulf will be safe’

Following the U.S. announcement of a naval blockade, Iran’s war command said “enemy ships” will not be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz while other vessels may transit under certain conditions.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned, “If our ports are not safe, no port in the Gulf will be safe.”

President Donald Trump said the United States will begin blocking ships entering or leaving Iranian ports on April 13 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (17:00 Israel time).
