Reynaldo Ramon/USAF)Several injured in drone crashSeveral Israelis were lightly injured on Tuesday when an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) crashed into a building in Wadi Ara, in northern Israel, and started a fire.The injured suffered from smoke inhalation and were taken to a hospital in Afula for treatment.The UAV, said to be a Heron 1, was reportedly on a test flight for Israel’s Aerospace Industries (IAI). The experiment was apparently a failure. “The firm is looking into the circumstances of the event together with the relevant parties,” IAI stated after the crash.The Ministry of Transportation has launched an inquiry into the incident.By: Aryeh Savir, World Israel News DroneIAIUAVWadi Ara
