By JNS Israeli air defenses on Sunday morning intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen, according to the Israeli military. The attack triggered air-raid sirens across central and southern Israel, including in Jerusalem, the Dead Sea region, Beit Shemesh, Beitar Illit, Kiryat Arba and numerous surrounding communities. Sirens were sounded in accordance with standard protocol as defense systems engaged the threat, according to the Israel Defense Forces. There were no initial reports of injuries due to the attack.
