Hamas to Mojtaba Khamenei: ‘Our unity will destroy Israel’

Hamas is urging Iran’s new leader to unite Islamic terror groups throughout the Middle East in the battle against Israel.

Hamas urged Mojtaba Khamenei to unite Islamic terror organizations across the Middle East against Israel in order to destroy the Jewish state, according to a reported secret letter sent to Iran’s new supreme leader.

According to the Hebrew-language outlet Kan News, Hamas sent a public letter congratulating Khamenei on succeeding his father, Ali Khamenei, as the ultimate authority in Iran.

However, the group also reportedly sent a separate private message that was not intended for public or diplomatic audiences, urging the new leader to embrace a hardline approach toward Israel.

“We are aware of attempts to bind the hands of the resistance under the guise of agreements – the organization will not compromise its weapons under any circumstances,” the letter reads, according to the Kan News report.

“All fronts must be activated to exact a price from the Zionists. We, together with our brothers in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, will create the next victories under your leadership,” the text reportedly continues.

The letter also reportedly criticizes Arab states that have taken more moderate positions toward Israel. Hamas claimed that countries normalizing relations with the Jewish state are losing influence in the region.

The tone and content of the secret letter appear to contradict the recent public letter by Hamas in which the group urged Iran to halt attacks on countries it considers benefactors, including Turkey and Qatar.

The letter was later highlighted by the Israeli Foreign Ministry, which posted the text on its account on X and described it as a “smoking gun.”

According to the ministry, Hamas is encouraging Khamenei “to escalate the war across the Middle East in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and every front possible.”

“The letter mocks Gulf states as ‘weak.’ Proof the Palestinians betray their Arab brothers,” the post added.
