By David Rosenberg, World Israel News Right-wing firebrand Tucker Carlson denounced Christian Zionists as heretics and excoriated prominent evangelical Christians, including US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, in a new episode of his podcast released Monday. The controversial former Fox News host sat down with white nationalist pundit Nick Fuentes for a two-hour interview that touched repeatedly on Fuentes’ hostility toward Israel and Zionism, as well as Carlson’s own opposition to Christian support for the Jewish state. The interview ended a months-long feud between the two far-right influencers during which Carlson accused Fuentes of being an undercover federal agent and referred to him as an “angry gay kid.” Fuentes repeatedly accused Carlson of “gaslighting,” calling the 56-year-old commentator a “propagandist.” During the show, the two took aim repeatedly at the Republican Party and the mainstream conservative movement in America, targeting, among other things, Christian support for Israel. Carlson declared non-Jewish support for Israel to be a “brain virus” while calling Christian Zionism a “heresy.” “How do you explain Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, John Bolton… George W. Bush… Karl Rove…who I have seen be seized by this brain virus who are not Jewish? Most of them are self-described Christians…What is that?” Carlson asked. I do get that a lot from people not familiar with the Bible or history. Somehow I will survive the animosity.” Carlson also falsely accused Israel of funding Hamas. “Israel has always funded extremism throughout the Middle East, including Hamas, because it discredits the reasonable people. That is a fact,” Carlson said. Hamas, which received cash transfers from Qatar with Israel’s tacit approval prior to the October 7 invasion, has never been funded by the State of Israel. anti-Zionismchristian zionismNick FuentesTucker Carlson
