By Ilanit Chernick, TPSA Palestinian woman was shot and wounded Tuesday morning while attempting to carry out a stabbing attack at a gas station near Kfar Adumim in Judea, 10 kilometers northeast of Jerusalem.According to the Israel Police, the 37-year-old terrorist from Yatta, a Palestinian village near Hebron, was reported to police earlier in the day for acting suspiciously when she refused to leave a falafel shop at the gas station.Border Police were called and she finally left the store. “When Border Police officers identified her on the road as the suspicious individual from the falafel shop, they called out to her, and she immediately ran towards them brandishing a knife and shouting in Arabic,” the statement said.“One of the soldiers shot and wounded her. The terrorist was moderately injured and evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. When searched, a knife and scissors were found in her possession.”No other casualties were reported.The attempted attack comes just a day after an attempted stabbing at a gas station near Hebron.
